Report: enabling transformation through cloud adoption

TIN and Hyland identify the key challenges in achieving digital transformation with cloud

Working in partnership with Hyland this January, TIN ran a survey of industry practitioners to identify the key challenges in achieving digital transformation in the current (and evolving!) business environment, with a particular focus on cloud adoption: over 50% of respondents were embarking on replatforming core systems using cloud technology.

This report explores and analyses the results of that survey to explore the key drivers for cloud adoption (the ‘why’); some key criteria for successful implementation (the ‘how’) ;and along the way looks at some of the obstacles to successful implementation (the ‘why not’!).

The report also references the discussions at a recent virtual round table on 'successfully adopting cloud within insurance', which was co-hosted with Hyland and led by Jeremy Burgess of TIN, Jean-Marc Hoffmann, the Move to Cloud Migration Programme Director at AXA Group Operations, and Kyle Blair of Hyland, and was attended by companies from both GI and the Lloyd’s / London markets, including Generali, QBE, Hiscox, Willis Tower Watson and BMS Group.
